Aslak authorizes board to pay interim dividends for 2021

United Wire Factories Co.’s (Aslak) shareholders authorized the board of directors to distribute interim dividends on a semi-annual or quarterly basis for 2021, during the ordinary general meeting (OGM) held on April 6, 2021, the company said in a bourse filing.

 

Shareholders approved financial statements, the board and auditor reports for 2020, and discharged board members from liability for 2020.

 

In addition, they approved the appointment of an external auditor for Q2, Q3, Q4 2021 and Q1 2022.

 

Shareholders also discussed the contracts concluded between the company and Rumooz Al-Fakherah for Trading Co., where two board members, Mohammad Al-Rasheed and Saleh Al-Rasheed, have direct interest.

 

During the meeting, shareholders approved disbursing SAR 900,000 in board remuneration and SAR 175,000 in audit committee remuneration for 2020, in addition to appointing Yousef Al-Mutlaq (independent board member), as an audit committee member, as of Oct. 1, 2020 through April 9, 2022.
