Emaar EC shareholders approve 2020 board, audit reports

Emaar The Economic City (Emaar EC) shareholders approved the audited financial statements, as well as board and audit reports for 2020, during the ordinary general assembly meeting (OGM) held on June 30, according to a bourse statement.

 

Shareholders also appointed an external auditor to review and audit financial results of Q2, Q3, 2021, and Q1 2022, and determined the fees.

 

They approved paying SAR 4.10 million as remuneration for board members and discharging the board of directors from liabilities for 2020.

 

Other agenda items included appointing Osama Omar Barayan, Mazen Nasser Al-Sharfan, and Abdul Majeed Sulaiman Al-Dakhil as audit committee members for the current three-year term, ending April 23, 2023.
