Council of Health Insurance issues 1.4 mln visitor policies in 2021

The Council of Health Insurance issued 1.39 million insurance policies for visitors year-to-date, Al-Eqtisadiah Newspaper reported. 

 

The number of subscribers in health insurance policies within the Kingdom reached 9.85 million, including 3.5 million Saudis and their dependents, and 6.34 million non-Saudis and their dependents.  

 

The council added that they are subscribed to 24 qualified insurance companies and 5,821 certified service providers in the Kingdom.

 

According to data available on Argaam, the council said in August that 58,000 COVID-19 travel policies were issued in Saudi Arabia since the policy was approved, according to the service provider database.
