Saudi Aramco awards Schlumberger contract for gas drilling project

Saudi Aramco’s storage tanks

Saudi Arabian Oil Co. (Saudi Aramco) awarded Schlumberger a major contract for integrated drilling and well construction services in a gas drilling project, the US-based oilfield services firm said in a statement.

 

The project scope includes drilling rigs, technologies, and services.

 

Schlumberger will utilize digital solutions in order to improve the integrated drilling performance, using data analysis, learning systems and automation to implement the digital well plan and improve drilling efficiency, continuity, and performance.
