Khalid Alhussan, CEO of Saudi Tadawul Group Holding, said the number of qualified foreign investors (QFIs) saw a 14% increase year-on-year to surpass 2,650 in 2021.

The integration of government authorities played a vital role in increasing the momentum of market listings, by offering support to drive firms to list shares in the Saudi market.

The private sector stimulus committee also helped overcome hurdles to new listings in various sectors.

This effort contributed to increasing market attractiveness to issuers, and providing an investment environment that meets investor needs, Alhussan added.
