Lazurde receives Shariah evaluation report for Q2 2022

Lazurde Company for Jewelry received today, Sept. 15, a Shariah evaluation report from its advisor Shariyah Review Bureau (SRB) for Q2 2022, the company said in a bourse filing.

 

The report indicated that the company’s business activities during the second quarter of the year comply with the Accounting and Auditing Organization for Islamic Financial Institutions’ (AAOIFI) Shariah standards and guidelines.

 

SRB was appointed as the Shariah advisor to study and examine the company’s business activities in line with the Shariah guidelines and standards issued by AAOIFI, in addition to other Shariah guidelines and standards mentioned in the report.

 

The bureau will also provide the necessary consultation to help Lazurde continue to meet the required compliance with the abovementioned guidelines and standards.

 

It will provide oversight and review of Shariah-compliant financial activities every quarter based on the company’s financial statements, the statement noted.
