Tihama Advertising and Public Relations Co. received a letter from the lawyer regarding the issuance of the Court of Cassation's decision rejecting the request submitted by Nasser bin Saleh Al Sarami to overturn the ruling issued in favor of the company.

In a statement to Tadawul, Tihama said the judgment issued in favor of the company has became enforceable.

The company will announce any material developments in this regard, it noted.

In December 2021, Al Sarami filed an appeal against the ruling issued against him, Argaam reporetd.

The Dubai Court of First Instance issued a preliminary ruling on Nov. 16, ordering Al Sarami to pay AED 3.83 million to Tihama, in addition to the legal interest of 5% from the date of the legal claim until full payment.

The ruling also ordered Kanaen General Trading Co. to pay AED 1.22 million to Tihama, in addition to 5% legal interest from the date of legal claim until full payment.

In addition, each defendant was ordered to pay their application fees and AED 500 in attorneys’ fees.

Tihama filed a lawsuit against Al Sarami to get compensation for the damages he caused while managing its associate, Tihama Global Co. in Dubai in his capacity as General Manager and board member of Tihama Global.
