Abdulrahman Al-Fageeh, CEO of Saudi Basic Industries Corp.
Saudi Basic Industries Corp. (SABIC)’s board of directors appointed Abdulrahman Al-Fageeh as the company’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective March 21.
Al-Fageeh fills the vacant executive seat until the end of the current session, on April 9, 2025, the petrochemicals major said in a statement to Tadawul.
Al-Fageeh holds a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from King Saud University, in addition to a Master's degree in Business Administration from the University of (Bradford) in the United Kingdom.
He served as SABIC’s acting CEO and Executive Vice President (Petrochemicals). Moreover, he is the Chairman of SABIC Agri-Nutrients Co., Nusaned Investment Co., Petrochemical Manufacturers Committee, and, Gulf Petrochemicals and Chemicals Association (GPCA).
Moreover, he is a board member of the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu, and the General Authority for Foreign Trade.
In September 2022, Al-Fageeh was assigned the duties of the SABIC’s acting CEO for six months, Argaam earlier reported.
