Tadawul halts trading on AlKhaleej Training on failure to disclose Q1 financials

The Saudi Exchange (Tadawul) announced the suspension of trading on AlKhaleej Training and Education Co.’s shares, for non-compliance with announcing the financial statements for the first quarter of 2023, during the regulatory period.

 

In a statement, the Saudi Exchange (Tadawul) stated that suspension will be effective for one day, today, May 24.

 

Shares will resume trading for 20 trading sessions starting from May 25, following the one-day suspension, and the company will be required to announce its financial statements before the end of June 21.

 

In case of failure to disclose financial statements for Q1 2023 during this period, trading of Alkhaleej Training shares will be suspended again starting from June 22, until the company announces its financial statements for the period.

 

According to data compiled by Argaam, Alkhaleej Training recently announced its inability to disclose financial results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2023, within the specified deadline, due to the delay in revealing 2022 earnings.
