SAPTCO inks SAR 93 mln contract to operate bus network in Jazan

Saudi Public Transport Co. (SAPTCO) signed today, May 30, a contract with Jazan Region Municipality for operating the public transport network in Jazan Governorate (Jazan-Sabya-Abu Arish), according to a statement to Tadawul. 

 

The project value is SAR 93 million, including 15% value-added tax, the company added. 

 

The contract term is five years, the company said, expecting the project to have a positive impact on its revenues from H2 2023. There are no related parties to the deal. 

 

Last month, SAPTCO received a notification of the project award from Jazan Municipality to operate the public transport bus network in Jazan governorate (Jazan-Sabya-Abu Arish) for five years.
