Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Sports has tendered an early works contract for the expansion and development of the Prince Mohammed bin Fahd Stadium in Dammam, MEED reported.
The scope of the contract includes construction of related facilities for the stadium to increase its capacity to 30,000 and prepare it to host AFC Asian Cup 2027, the report added.
The tender was issued on April 3 and the last date for submitting bids is May 10.
The project is part of the Kingdom's plans to build sports stadiums under its capital projects program, worth SAR 10.1 billion.
