Al Jouf Cement says second production line tests ​are ​ unfinished

Al Jouf Cement Company said on Thursday that tests for its second production line are still ongoing, according to the company’s statement to Tadawul, Saudi Arabia’s bourse.
 

The line has not yet met the production capacity outlined in the terms of its contract. Commercial production is set to begin during the first quarter of 2015, the company added.

Al Jouf had announced in December of 2013 that it would launch the trial operations of the second line in order to increase production capacity, according to data available on Argaam.

The production line had a clinker production capacity of 5,000 tons per day.
