Yansab restarts MEG plant after maintenance

Yanbu National Petrochemical Co. (Yansab) said on Sunday that it has resumed operations at its mono-ethylene glycol (MEG) plant following scheduled maintenance work.

 

The company expects financial impact of about SAR 330 million to appear in second quarter statements.

 

During the maintenance period, the petrochemical producer had used its inventories to meet the demands of clients.

 

The preventive maintenance conducted at the Yanbu-based complex will have a positive impact on production and overall performance, the company added in its statement to Tadawul, Saudi Arabia’s bourse.
