Al Othaim Markets opens sixth branch in Egypt

Abdullah Al Othaim Markets Co., which operates supermarkets in Saudi Arabia and the region, has opened its sixth store in Egypt in the Nozha district of Cairo, Al Riyadh Newspaper reported.

The move comes in line with the company’s expansion strategy outside the kingdom, in order to increase its investment base in the food and consumer sector, CEO Yousef Al-Gaffari was quoted as saying.

Al Othaim plans to open more branches in Egypt throughout the year, he added.
