29/07/2018 Argaam

The Saudi health ministry has cancelled contracts with two insurance companies, due to delays in settling financial liabilities and implementing proper medical actions, Okaz reported, citing the ministry’s communications department.

The ministry gave the two insurers a grace period to take the proper corrective measures, but had to terminate contracts due to the companies’ noncompliance.

The Ministry of Health had earlier cancelled a contract sealed with Bupa Arabia for Cooperative Insurance (Bupa Arabia) and The Company for Cooperative Insurance (Tawuniya), data compiled by Argaam showed.
