Saudi Arabia encourages Russian companies to have headquarters in the Kingdom, Tariq Al-Qahtani, Chairman of the Saudi-Russian Business Council (SRBC), said.

 

Al-Qahtani explained that one of the SRBC’s priorities is to transfer and localize Russian advanced technologies to the Kingdom and supply raw materials to the Saudi market at competitive prices, according to a post by the Council of Saudi Chambers on X.

 

The Chairman also stated that work is underway to finalize and sign a number of Saudi-Russian industrial partnerships and agreements, and preparations are on track for the visit of a large delegation of Russian businesspersons and companies to Riyadh next November.

 

The sectors targeted for cooperation include light and heavy industries, maritime and air transport, infrastructure and contracting, agriculture, finance, the supply of rebar, foodstuffs, and medicines, he added.
