Care net profit up 40% to SAR 136.4 mln in 2021; Q4 rises 67% to SAR 36.7 mln

National Medical Care Co. (Care) reported a net profit after Zakat and tax of SAR 136.4 million for 2021, a 40% increase from SAR 97.3 million in the previous year.

The profit rise was attributed to increased volume of business with cash and insurance segments, lower cost of sales ratio relative to revenue and lower selling and marketing expenses.

 

In Q4 2021, Care posted a 67% profit rise to SAR 36.7 million, from SAR 22 million in the same period the previous year.

 

On a sequential basis, Q4 profit rose 10.7% from SAR 33.17 million.
