The National Housing Company (NHC) said sales in Al-Fursan suburb, its largest urban development project, surpassed SAR 4.2 billion within a year of its launch, with 4,000 residential units sold.

The first quarter of 2024 saw the sale of 1,450 residential units valued at SAR 1.6 billion, as part of various projects within the integrated urban suburb, state-run Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.

Al-Fursan suburb has experienced increasing sales since the beginning of the current year, NHC said.

The suburb is one of the largest urban development projects undertaken by NHC regionally. It is designed to offer a comprehensive urban living experience that adheres to the standards set by Vision 2030, introducing new criteria and promoting a sustainable urban environment over an expansive area of 35 million square meters.

Al-Fursan features over 50,000 residential units, which will accommodate more than 250,000 residents. The suburb will offer over 190 facilities, including educational, health, sports, recreational services, parks, mosques, and prayer halls.

Covering an area exceeding six million square meters, the green spaces in Al-Fursan ensure an allocation of 26 square meters per individual, aligning with the objectives of the Saudi Green Initiative.

The suburb aims to plant over half a million trees, equivalent to eight trees per residential unit, NHC added.
