European institutions eye Aramco’s IPO: Italy’s former prime minister

Matteo Renzi, the former Italian prime minister, commended Saudi Arabia for its decision to launch Aramco’s initial public offering (IPO), saying the move will lead to huge future changes not only in the Kingdom but in the global market.

 

European financial institutions are eyeing the IPO and are following it in the global financial markets, he said.

 

Commenting on the Future of Investment Initiative, he stressed the importance and richness of its discussions, pointing out that it facilitates studying the global markets and identifying the latest economic challenges, in addition to networking with investment and commercial sectors’ peers.

 

He added that holding the G20 summit in the Kingdom will be a pivotal point.
