Sulaiman Al-Rajhi says endowment valued at SAR 60 bln

The endowment owned by Sulaiman Al-Rajhi, the founder of Al Rajhi Bank, is valued at more than SAR 60 billion, the Saudi billionaire said in a Snapchat interview.

Al-Rajhi confirmed that the wealth his children had inherited had been injected again into the endowment.

He is now fully focused on running the endowment project under his SAAR Foundation.

In 2011, Al-Rajhi transferred more than 50 percent of his SAR 25 billion fortune to social and educational charity projects and distributed the rest among his children, Argaam earlier reported.

At the time, he said he made the decision to protect his family and avoid inheritance-related court disputes after his death.
