Saudi Arabia’s energy minister Khalid Al Falih has signed a joint roadmap for cooperation with his Russian counterpart Alexander Novak, as part of King Salman’s visit to Moscow, according to the official Saudi Press Agency (SPA).

The two ministers agreed to expand their oil and gas cooperation to cover renewable energy sources like solar and nuclear energy through the localization of industries, attracting investments, and exchanging expertise.

Falih and Novak also discussed coordinating efforts on climate change, as well as academic cooperation, future projects, and joint investments, SPA said.
