Kuwait and Qatar recorded the lowest fuel prices among GCC countries for February, while the United Arab Emirates (UAE) had the highest prices for the month, followed by Oman, Saudi Arabia, and Bahrain.
Super grade petrol (98 octane) costs $0.54 (SAR 2.04) a liter in Saudi Arabia. The same grade costs $0.35 a liter in Kuwait and $0.52 a liter in Qatar.
It also costs $0.64 a liter in the UAE, followed by Oman ($0.57 a liter), and Bahrain ($.53 a liter).

Saudi Arabia hiked retail gasoline and maintained diesel prices in the first quarter of 2018, as part of fiscal reforms to reduce state budget's dependence on crude oil revenue.
