First Citymax hotel to open in Riyadh next year

Citymax Hotels, part of Dubai's Landmark Group, will open Citymax Riyadh in mid-2019, it said in a statement on Thursday.

The hotel, which is located in the Olaya district, will have 65 rooms.

“Mid-tier travel as a whole is on the rise, which puts us in a very favorable position as the demand is certainly there and growing. This is especially true in Saudi Arabia, as the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 to drive economic diversification has had a major impact on the hospitality industry,” said  Aly Shariff, chief operating officer, Citymax Hotels.
