Russia’s Novak says no talks underway to change oil output deal

There are no talks underway to change the global oil output deal between OPEC and its allies, according to Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak.

“Moscow is fully committed to the deal,” Novak said today while on a trip to Saudi Arabia.

Compliance to the OPEC oil output deal was expected to exceed 200 percent in September due to the drone attacks on Saudi Aramco’s oil facilities, Reuters had reported, citing unnamed sources.
