What you need to know when Tadawul opens today

Here are a few things you need to know as Saudi stocks start trading on Monday.

 

1) Saudi dairy producer Almarai Co.’s consolidated net profit after Zakat and tax surged 14% year-on-year (YoY) to SAR 383 million in the first quarter (Q1) of 2020.

 

2) Saudi Aramco appointed Mark A. Weinberger as an independent board member, effective March 31, 2020.

 

3) The Capital Market Authority (CMA) approved Dallah Healthcare Co.’s request to increase its capital from SAR 750 million to SAR 900 million, through issuance of 1 bonus share for every 5 outstanding shares.

 

4) Arabian Shield Cooperative Insurance Co.’s board of directors recommended withholding cash dividend for the fiscal year 2019.

 

5) Tabuk Agricultural Development Co.’s (TADCO) accumulated losses fell to SAR 36.49 million as of March 31, 2020, representing 15.1% of capital.

 

6) BATIC Investment and Logistics Co.’s shareholders approved electing a new board of directors for the upcoming 3-year term, started from April 3, 2020, until April 2, 2023.

 

7) Wafrah for Industry & Development Co. (Wafrah) faces termination if it fails to hold an extraordinary general meeting (EGM) by April 11 to vote on capital cut.

 

8) Bank Albilad shareholders are set to vote, on April 26, on the board’s recommendation to distribute a 5% cash dividend, or SAR 0.5 per share, for the second half of 2019.

 

9) Leejam Sports Co.’s (Fitness Time) shareholders are set to vote, on April 30, on delegating the company’s board of directors to distribute interim dividend for FY2020 on a semi-annual or a quarterly basis.

 

10) Brent crude on Monday declined 54 cents to reach $33.57 per barrel. WTI Crude also decreased 82 cents to reach $27.52/bbl.
