Amiantit's board members except one waive remuneration for 2018, 2019

Saudi Arabian Amiantit Co. announced that its board members, except one, agreed to waive their remuneration for the fiscal years 2018 and 2019, in a meeting held on Dec. 28, 2020.

 

The company said in a bourse statement that the total value of waived remuneration reaches SAR 1.6 million.

 

The members who approved the waiver are Chairman Ahmad Al Saud and Vice Chairman Abdulaziz Al Saud, as well as Khalil Kordi and Sulaiman Al Amro. Meanwhile, Mohammad Alluhidan did not.

 

The waiver was due to the company's financial conditions, the statement said.

 

The general meeting earlier approved remuneration worth SAR 1 million for board members for the fiscal years 2018 and 2019 each.
