Jarir opens new outlet in Abu Dhabi

Jarir Marketing Company launched today a new outlet in Abu Dhabi replacing an earlier one in the emirate that failed to meet its sales expectations, a filing to Tadawul said.

CEO Abdul-karim Al-Aqil said the 2500 square-meter outlet offers all the typical products and services of the renowned bookstore, and is expected to have a financial impact in the third quarter, said Al-Aqil.

Located at the Dalma Mall of Abu Dhabi, the branch is the fourth new opening in 2014, out of a total seven new branches the company plans this year.
