SSP WINS SAR 250 MILLION CONTRACTS FROM ARAMCO

14/07/2013 Tadawul

Saudi Steel Pipe Company SSP announces that it has won two contracts on 14/7/2013 for the supply of OCTG steel pipes for Saudi Aramco worth 250 Million Riyals. It is significant that these two contracts are the continuation of the contracts that were obtained last year and the first half of this year, and the work is underway to produce and deliver pipes on a monthly basis. Pipes will be produced for these new contracts by the end of the second quarter of next year and until the fourth quarter of the year 2014.
The continuous winning of contracts despite competition with international companies in this field confirms the Company commitment to quality, delivery and competitive price of SSP products.
Pipes for these contracts will be produced at the company pipe factory in Dammam Second Industrial City according to the specifications of Saudi Aramco and the international standards. And the financial impact will be positive for this contract during the second half of next year, God willing.
The raw material will be supplied locally from Saudi Iron and Steel Company Hadeed SABIC.
