AMIANTIT OPENS R&D CENTER IN SAUDI

Saudi Arabian Amiantit Company said it inaugurated a research and development center on December 2, 2012 at King Abdullah Complex for Industrial Research, Dhahran Technology Valley of King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals.

The total cost of the 7000-m2 Center reached SAR 13 million and it was designed and equipped in accordance with the latest global standards.

The Center is run by 30 experts and technicians, actively covering its four main departments: Technical Development and Support of Equipment; Technical Development and Support of Products, Technical Development and Support of Raw Material, and Technical Development and Dupport of Manufacturing Processes.

The Center serves as extension of the company’s R&D center in Norway (Flowtite) and both work in complete coordination.
