Here’s the performance of Saudi Arabia’s top brokerages in April

Al Rajhi Capital topped the brokerage firms operating in Saudi Arabia in April 2020, according to recent data compiled by Argaam.

 

The Saudi-based firm accounted for 17.95% (SAR 34.31 billion) of the market transactions on the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) last month.

 

NCB Capital (NCBC) was ranked second, accounting for 14.19% (SAR 27.12 billion) of the total trading, followed by Aljazira Capital (SAR 18.05 billion).

 

Meanwhile, Samba Capital maintained the fourth position from March with a total of SAR 13.92 billion.

 

By the end of April, the combined trading value of brokerage firms fell by SAR 42.7 billion month-on-month (MoM) to SAR 191.2 billion.

 

On the Nomu Parallel Market, Aljazira Capital topped the list of brokerages operating in April, brokering up to SAR 269.3 million of total transactions on the parallel market.

 

Meanwhile, the number of brokerages working on exchange-traded funds (ETFs) remained unchanged MoM at 16 firms, with Albilad Capital on top brokering up to SAR 55.79 million worth of transactions.

 

The number of brokerages dealing in Sukuk and bonds dropped to 8 firms by April-end, recording a trading value of up to SAR 4.2 billion.

 

NCBC was the leading firm for the month, accounting for 36.26%, or SAR 1.53 billion, of total trading, compared to the previous month.
