Wafrah for Industry and Development Co. will adopt electronic voting as of March 14 on the agenda items of its ordinary general assembly meeting (OGM) that will be held on March 18, according to a bourse filing today.
Shareholders will vote on the formation of the audit committee, job description and regulations, and remunerations of its members for the term, starting on the OGM date till Jan. 13, 2024.
The step follows the Capital Market Authority’s (CMA) directives enabling shareholders to participate and vote on related meeting agenda through Tadawulaty system in line with the government’s efforts to prevent spread of coronavirus.
