Saudi Cabinet says decision on linking labor cases to labor offices extended by 3 years

The Saudi Cabinet, in a meeting chaired by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud today, Dec. 7, approved to extend the application of Clause First/A under Royal Decree No. (M/14) for three years starting Sept. 27, 2021.

 

The paragraph states labor cases, prior to be examined by the Labor Court, must be referred to the competent Labor Office under which the work place is affiliated to proceed with necessary procedures to settle the conflict amicably, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.

 

The Cabinet also approved applying the decision of the Financial and Economic Committee in the Gulf Cooperation Council for Arab States, which includes “accrediting the attached formula of the meeting minutes amending the conditions of exempting industrial inputs from customs duty”.
