Saudi GDP rises 6.7% in Q4 2021, grows 3.2% in 2021

Saudi Arabia’s real gross domestic product (GDP) rose by 6.7% year-on-year (YoY) in Q4 2021, data issued by the General Authority for Statistics (GASTAT) showed.

Compared to Q3 2021, real GDP achieved a growth of 6.1%.

According to GASTAT’s estimates, annual real GDP surged by 3.3% in 2021 from a 4.1% decline in 2020.

GDP at constant prices hit SAR 705.52 billion in Q4 2021, compared to SAR 661.19 billion during the same period in 2020.
