‘Equity Funds Rating’ page launched under Argaam Tools-Analysts service

31/10/2023 Argaam Special

Argaam is pleased to launch its 22nd page “Equity Funds Rating”, under “Argaam Tools-Analysts” service that aims to provide investors, researchers, and analysts with easy access to a single source for in-depth data on economy, capital market sectors, and top companies.

Tool (22): Equity Funds Rating

This tool helps investors and analysts view the rating and ranking of the largest 30 mutual funds, which focus on investment in the equities listed on the Saudi Exchange (Tadawul) for various periods (three and five years).

It helps rank funds by rating from top to bottom or vice versa.

The tool adopts a methodology to rate funds based on two key factors, which have an equal weight of 50% as follows:

First: Measuring the fund’s overall performance in a specified period.

Second: Measuring the fund’s performance during the last 12 consecutive months to ensure the continuity of superior performance over the periods.

Through this tool, the funds can be ranked by net asset value and the overall performance, in an ascending or descending order during a specified period.

The tool also displays the fund ranking and growth rate during the last 12 months and compares it with the same number of months in the previous years within the period specified by the user. All data can be accessed in a single page.
