The Supreme Council of the Gulf Cooperation Council affirmed that Dorra field, lying in the divided submerged area, is jointly owned by Saudi Arabia and Kuwait only.

 

In the final communique for the 157th session held in Riyadh, the council called for completing the electrical interconnection project to connect Iraq to the GCC electricity network, as well as achieving a greater integration between Iraq and the GCC countries.

 

It also stressed the importance of implementing the decisions related to completing the Customs Union requirements.

 

In addition, the council welcomed the Kingdom's establishment of a global organization for water headquartered in the Saudi capital.
