Human Capability Initiative to kick off next February in Riyadh

The inaugural launch of the Human Capability Initiative (HCI) will kick off from Feb. 28-29, 2024, under the patronage of Crown Prince, Prime Minister and Chairman of Human Capability Development Program Committee, Mohammed bin Salman, at the King Abdul Aziz International Conference Center, Riyadh.  

 

Under the theme of Future Readiness, the event will bring together more than 6,000 experts and specialists, as well as a lineup of 150 global speakers and policymakers from the government, private sector, non-profit sector and think tanks from 50 countries. The attendees will share the best practices and inspiring global success stories. They will also discuss aspects of cooperation with the competent authorities for the development of human capabilities to make a sustainable global agenda for human capabilities solutions.  

 

Yousef Al-Benyan, Minister of Education and Chairman of Human Capability Development Program’s Executive Committee, said the conference is the first-of-its-kind global cooperative platform that aims to streamline international efforts and foster the global dialogue to develop the future of human capabilities. The event aims to build a prosperous global economy and will tackle the main challenges facing the human capability system amid global variables. It will also focus on the key skills required by the global labor market, and the impact of accelerating development in technological and economic fields on human capabilities.  

 

Al-Benyan also underlined the importance of the issues to be addressed by the conference, organized by the Human Capability Development Program, being one of Vision 2030 initiatives.
