US President Donald Trump
US President Donald Trump said his administration is “doing very well” in trade talks with China and is receiving “positive reports” as negotiations continue in London.
In response to a question on lifting export controls during a White House event late on June 9, Trump said that the government would look at the possibility.
The US-China talks in London will extend by a day, as both sides try to reinforce a fragile tariff truce threatened by export restrictions, Agence France-Presse (AFP) reported.
Trump also said the US and Iran will resume nuclear talks on June 12. He described Iran as a “tough negotiator” and said enrichment remains the main hurdle to a deal.
Commenting on his dispute with Elon Musk, Trump said he won’t drop support for SpaceX’s Starlink, calling it a “good service” and wishing the best for Musk.
