Cabinet OKs travel class rules for employees in public entities

The Saudi Cabinet approved the rules governing the travel class entitlements of both civilian and military employees, as well as workers in public entities.

Under the new rules, employees on the public sector pay scale at grade 11 and below, as well as their equivalents on other pay scales, will be entitled to economy class or its equivalent.

Employees at grades 12, 13 and 14 on the public sector pay scale, and their equivalents on other scales, will be entitled to business class or its equivalent.

Employees at grade 15 and above on the public sector pay scale, and their equivalents on other scales, will be entitled to first class or its equivalent.
