US President Donald Trump said on Thursday that if he hadn't imposed tariffs, his country would only have a fraction of the investment it is currently seeing.
Trump also told a business reception during his state visit to Britain that the US "will have regulation but it will be sane regulation," according to Reuters.
Several companies have announced investments in the US, and some have increased their domestic production after Trump imposed tariffs on many of its trading partners.
