Saudi Industry Minister invites US firms to invest in strategic opportunities, supporting Vision 2030
Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Bandar Alkhorayef invited major industrial and mining companies in the United States to invest in high-value opportunities in the Kingdom and to benefit from the enablers provided to facilitate investors’ journey in the industrial and mining sectors.
According to a ministry statement, Alkhorayef emphasized during a meeting held at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce the strength of the strategic relations between Saudi Arabia and the United States, which span more than eight decades, built on ambitious visions and shared interests of both countries. He noted that bilateral economic ties have supported the growth of high-value investment partnerships and contributed to the prominent presence of US companies in the Kingdom, totaling 1,300 companies.
The minister also highlighted the economic transformation underway in the Kingdom, led by Vision 2030, which has made the industrial and mining sectors key pillars for diversifying the national economy. He explained that the Kingdom’s industrial and mineral system focuses on attracting key investments and providing all enablers to facilitate investors’ journey at all stages.
Alkhorayef further illustrated to investors the competitive advantages of the investment environment in the Kingdom and its strategic assets that make it a promising destination for global investments, including qualified human capital, a geographic location connecting it to major regional and global markets, abundant natural resources, competitive energy prices, advanced infrastructure, and modern industrial cities.
Meanwhile, the ministry stated that this initiative aligns with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030, aiming to develop the industrial and mining sectors, enhance their competitiveness, and maximize their role in the economic diversification journey through building effective international partnerships, transferring technology and knowledge, and attracting high-value investments.
