Saudi September inflation unchanged at 2.8%

Saudi Arabia inflation rate in September remained unchanged at 2.8 per cent, compared to August level, according to the kingdom’s Central Department of Statistics.

 

The statistics department base year for its consumer price index is 2007.

 

The consumer price index (CPI), which measures changes in the price level of a market basket of consumer goods and services purchased by households, rose to 130.9 points in September 2014 compared to 127.3 points in the same month last year.
