Fahad Al-Hamad, Saudi Arabia’s new minister of communications and information technology, said he is working diligently to develop the ministry’s performance from all respects.
According to Al-Madinah newspaper, the ministry has great tasks ahead of it, including building a general strategy plan and policy.
Our plans include developing the Information and Communication Technology Authority and bolstering its supervision over local telecom companies, he said.
According to the data available on Argaam, a royal decree has been issued recently to restructure Saudi’s cabinet. Six ministers were removed, and nine new ministers were appointed, including Fahad Al-Hamad, who replaced Muhammad Jamil Mulla as communications minister.
