Shaker Group​,​ LG​ ​Korea​ ink MoU​ to provide reactors for Saudi Arabia​'s​ nuclear plants

Al-Hassan G.I. Shaker Company (Shaker Group) signed on Tuesday a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with LG Electronics Korea to start talks on the latter supplying Advanced Power Reactor ​components for new nuclear power plants in Saudi Arabia.

The preliminary agreement is active for two years as of March 3, and will be terminated if the two companies ink the supply agreement, according to Shaker Group’s statement to Tadawul, Saudi Arabia’s bourse.
