CMA chairman Al-Jadaan exits law firm

Mohammed al-Jadaan, Chairman of Saudi Arabia’s Capital Market Authority

 has announced his departure from Al-Jadaan & Partners, a law firm he helped found in an effort to avoid any conflict of interest.
 
​After giving up 
his SAR 100
​,000 ​
stake
​​
​he was 
replaced by co-partner Hashim al-Hashim
​, ​
according to a statement by 
​the company. 
 
The firm’s name has been renamed 
​to ​
Youssef Al-Jadaan & Partners.
 
Al-Jadaan is also a Saudi local partner of London-based
​,​
 multinational law firm Clifford Chance.
