Al Hokair projects SAR 7-10 mln financial impact on energy hikes

Abdul Mohsen Al Hokair Group (Al Hokair) expects a financial impact of SAR 7-10 million per year, after the kingdom increased electricity tariffs and gas prices, according to a company statement.

 

On Monday, Saudi Arabia had announced it will raise domestic petrol prices by more than 50 percent for some products as it cuts a range of subsidies following a record budget deficit of $135 billion in 2015.
