The Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu in Saudi Arabia has inked a SAR 44 million ($11 million) contract with England-based Doosan Power Systems to build and operate a new water plant in Yanbu Industrial City.
The new plant, Doosan Arabia, will be responsible for water production and desalination. It will also manufacture Wolf electric generators, as well as renovate and reassemble boilers.
Production at Doosan Arabia is slated for early 2017, the Saudi state news agency reported.
