Commercial operations began at the Jabal Sayid Copper Mine on Friday, Saudi Arabian Mining Co. (Maaden) said in a statement to Tadawul.
The mine is operated by Maaden Barrick Copper Co, which is equally-owned by Maaden and Canada's Barrick Gold Corp.
