Abu Dhabi-based National Petroleum Construction Company (NPCC) has won a $141 million (AED 520 million) contract from India’s Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Ltd (ONGC), state news agency WAM reported.

The project involves the replacement of 10 wellhead platform topsides at ONGC’s offshore oilfield Mumbai High North and South. Out of these 10, four are on the Mumbai High North block and six are located on Mumbai High South.

The engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract includes the decommissioning and removal of the existing topsides. The project is scheduled to be completed in April 2018.

NPCC, which is owned by an Abu Dhabi Government Holding Company, has implemented several mega EPC projects for ONGC over the past three decades.
