Marriott to open Four Points by Sheraton hotel in Riyadh

Marriott International has inked an agreement with Al Maryia Real Estate Establishment to open a Four Points by Sheraton hotel in Riyadh by 2019, the hotel operator announced on Monday.

 

The 130-key property will be located on King Abdul Aziz Road, in the Sulaimaniyah district of the Saudi capital.

 

Marriott’s Four Points brand is on track to open six properties in the kingdom in the next five years, the statement said.

 

The Maryland, U.S.-based hotel operator currently operates 19 properties and over 5,000 rooms in Saudi Arabia. The company plans to reach a milestone of 50 operating hotels in the kingdom by 2021.
