Takween Advanced Industries Co. widened net losses to SAR 35.6 million, from SAR 8.2 million in the year-earlier period.

The losses increased on a year-on-year (YoY) decline in the six-month revenues amid weak sales volumes and a change in the selling prices linked to raw materials, which retreated in H1 2025.

 

Takween also reported a rise in the ratio of cost of sales-to-sales, general and administrative expenses, as well as financing charges.

 

In Q2 2025, Takween’s net losses deepened to SAR 26 million, from SAR 4.17 million in Q2 2024.

Total shareholders’ equity, no minority interest, decreased to SAR 356.37 million as of June 30, 2025, from SAR 459.81 million a year earlier.

 

Accumulated losses stood at SAR 333.91 million by the end of the six-month period, representing 43.67% of the company’s capital.
